For those of you who have participated in Chosen before, welcome back! We’re excited to let you know that our Spring semester will be starting Friday, March 9th and going through Friday, May 18th. It’s not our intention for this later start date to be the new norm, we just needed a bit more time to learn the ropes and get our new website and registration program up and running before the semester started.
Our new online software system, called The HUB, is open for you to set up your family account. If you’re planning to participate in the Spring semester, please do so as soon as possible because it takes about a week for your account to be fully activated and you’ll need to have this completed before you’ll be able to register for classes. Because this system is brand new to us, ALL families will need to register, even if you were registered in our old system.
We are aiming to have the class list posted by February 14th so you can preview the classes and plan ahead for registration. Class registration will open for teachers and full-time volunteers on Monday, February 19th, for everyone else on Wednesday, February 21st, and then close at midnight on Tuesday, February 27th.
We’ll be offering four periods this semester
1st Period: 8:15 am – 9:10 am
2nd Period: 9:15 am – 10:20 am (10 minute snack time during this period)
3rd Period: 10:25 am – 11:20 am
4th Period: 11:25am – 12:20 pm
We will not be offering lunch or snacks this semester, as much as we would love to. We’re new to running the co-op and want to make sure we have a solid foundation in place with the core of the co-op (the classes) running well and smoothly before we add on the extras.
